Finishes

aluminums

Aluminum offers infinite possibilities - infinite shapes and colors to literally shape and color your outdoor lifestyle. As a matter of fact, aluminum provides structure for more than 80% of Tidelli furniture. And with a monthly consumption of 15 tons, Tidelli is the largest aluminum processor in Bahia, Brazil. To keep the color and finish of your aluminum, apply automotive wax on the metallic structure every 90 days. Do not use scrub pads nor pressure cleaners to treat your Tidelli furniture. Plastic tips that isolate the furniture feet from the floor may suffer wear and tear depending on their use. Maintaining and replacing the protective feet (when necessary) will enhance the durability of your furniture.

Stones

Using only Brazilian sourced stone - marble, granite and quartzite - Tidelli has added more than 10 stone varieties to its raw materials. Stone enhances the already unique and personal feel of many of our signature collections. A solid foundation for any piece, our selection of stone plays off the beauty and richness of Brazil. To best care for and clean your stone, use a damp cloth in a solution of warm water and mild soap. Clean the rope and then rinse with another damp cloth with water only. Do not use water pressure cleaners or harsh chemicals (bleach, ammonia, etc.) that can affect the stone surface and seal. Never use solvents, removers, abrasive or alkaline (pH > 8) to clean the furniture. Please avoid using other chemical cleaning agents, high pressure cleaners, or abrasive cleaning products.

Concretes

Modern yet original, decorative cement - or “ faux concrete” - is a durable, waterproof and easy-to-clean raw material. Concrete is what you make it, and Tidelli makes it into a work of art. A transformative and versatile material, concrete can take on textures and colors of other materials - a cost-effective and low-maintenance chameleon of sorts. You will not be disappointed. To best care for your faux concrete, use PH neutral products and a sponge, avoiding abrasive, pungent objects or steel wool.

Fabrics

The Tidelli fabric line ranges from the simplest weave to the most sophisticated textile. Imported from suppliers that excel in technology and innovation, What you can expect? Smooth weaves, with newest in textures and colors. Acrylic and polyester fabrics should be washed frequently using mild soap without bleach, in order to prevent the accumulation of dirt. In case of stains, soak in cold water with 10% bleach for 36 hours, and wash with water and mild soap.

Fibers

A sustainable alternative, PVC is both underutilized and overlooked as a raw material. Even better are PVC fiber strips, which were used in the first line of Tidelli furniture. Making us a pioneer in the import of this material. Since 2004, Tidelli has been using synthetic fiber imported from Indonesia to create beautiful and unique outdoor furniture. Produced with polyurethane foam that absorbs and eliminates water easily, just keep the upholstery in a dry and ventilated place when not in use. Never store it wet or damp, as in this case fungus may occur.

High Pressure Laminates (HPL)

A multitude of pieces can boast a formica finish. Easy to clean and water resistant, High Pressure Laminate (HPL) surface is non-porous and does not retain dirt. Say goodbye to fungi and bacteria, as these will not proliferate. Hello clean fun and outdoor living. High Pressure Laminate (HPL) is a non-toxic material that is highly resistant to high impact, mechanical stress, moisture and steam. And its maintenance is very simple. Clean your HPL Tidelli furniture with a soft cloth or paper towel and any non-abrasive all-surface cleaner (that is free of solvents). Avoid abrasives, soaps, wax and silicone, which can form a greasy film, making cleaning difficult and changing the original appearance.

Porcelain

PVCS

Reuse and recycle. PVC Tidelli furniture was developed with the environment in mind. Especially created for tropical climates, PVC guarantees the superior quality of colors and products while upcycling so called waste. First, white PVC does not yellow with time, preserving appearance. Second, PVC also protects the environment, with a long lifespan and reuse. Virtually all (99%) of leftovers or industrial wastes are recycled at the factory or sent on to recycling. PVC maintenance is very simple. Clean your PVC Tidelli furniture with a soft cloth or paper towel and any non-abrasive all-surface cleaner (that is free of solvents). Avoid abrasives, soaps, wax and silicone, which can form a greasy film, making cleaning difficult and changing the original appearance.

Ropes

The invention of Tidelli’s nautical rope was a turning point. Replacing fiber with rope made Tidelli furniture more durable, comfortable, sustainable, and weather resistant. Nautical rope imitates nature with the look and feel of reed, while outlasting the effects of mother nature. Made with polyester thread imported from Holland, our nautical rope is braided by hand, does not absorb heat or liquids and allows for numerous wefts, thicknesses, densities and exclusive patterns. Tidelli nautical rope is made in-house to guarantee its 100% synthetic, high quality craftsmanship - which makes it so suitable for outdoor living. Over time, if exposed to direct sunlight, nautical rope may lose some of its luster - reducing the original hue. To best care for and clean your nautical rope, use a damp cloth in a solution of warm water and mild soap. Clean the rope and then rinse with another damp cloth with water only. Allow to air dry. If stains are deep or dirt persists, re-wet the rope with soap and water and rub. Rinse and let dry. Do not use water pressure cleaners or harsh chemicals (bleach, ammonia, etc.) that can affect the fibers that make up the rope. Never use solvents, removers, abrasive or alkaline (pH > 8) to clean the furniture. Please avoid using other chemical cleaning agents, high pressure cleaners, or abrasive cleaning products.

ropetex

Ropetex is a unique technology from Tidelli, woven in a similar way to handmade knitting and made with polyester threads. It can be used in decorative pillows and in some sofa backrest models.

Eucalyptus Wood

Eucalyptus Wood is used for the structure of selected Tidelli furniture, from armchairs to table tops. A team of 40 carpenters works solely with recycled wood from demolition or reforestation projects. Handmade craftsmanship upcycles raw materials. Wood that is not only sustainable but also unique. Adding personality to these one-of-a-kind products. Wood being a natural material, it may change color or even crack due to humidity levels or sudden changes in temperature. When left outdoors, wood undergoes a natural process of oxidation. To maintain and restore the original appearance of your Madeira wood Tidelli furniture, reapply varnish. We recommend purchasing directly from our resellers according to the tone of your furniture, in order to maintain the original appearance. Ask a Tidelli consultant what is the right product to use. Depending on the location of use and its exposure to the sun, the wood may lose its original appearance between 6 to 24 months.
