Latina Collection stands out in New York
One of the most popular tourist destinations in the world and one of great cultural effervescence, New York received the best of Brazilian furniture, decoration and design, in two important events in May. And Tidelli participated in both of them, taking releases and iconic pieces. The action was an initiative of the Brazilian Furniture Sector Project, promoted by Abimóvel and APEX Brasil, with support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
ICFF
From May 11 to 17, Tidelli had an exclusive space at the largest event in the contemporary furniture segment in North America, the International Contemporary Furniture Fair – ICFF + Wanted Design Manhattan. The founder of the brand, Tatiana Mandelli, designed the project for the large lounge.
Among the novelties presented was furniture from the recently launched Latina Collection. One of the highlights was the Veracruz chair, designed by designer Sami Hayek. Its modern shapes and rope braid are a reinterpretation of the “Loop Chair” created by the artist years ago and which has gained a different look, in an outdoor aesthetic.
Created by César Giraldo, the Medellín line also appears in the lounge with its innovative design. The beauty of the spaghetti rope with transparency and light braiding could be seen in the lounge chairs with rounded shapes. Following this concept, coffee tables and side tables with granite tops and different sizes created an asymmetrical and contemporary furniture composition.
The comfortable Tulum lounge chair and the Pucon modules gave a cool and elegant air to the space. In addition to the launches, iconic pieces already recognized around the world and designed by renowned national designers were on display, such as the Painho lounge chair, by Marcelo Rosenbaum and Fetiche Design, the Sugarloaf lounge chair, by Manuel Bandeira, and the Amado chaise, by Alfio Lisi. All the furniture could be checked up close by hundreds of visitors who went to the fair
During the ICFF, the company also participated in a trade mission organized by the Federal Government in partnership with Abimóvel. On that occasion, meetings were held with customers and prospects.
Casa Brasil
From the 11th to the 25th of May, Tidelli also participated in Casa Brasil 2022, which took place in Soho. The exhibition of products with high design had as its central theme “Brasil in Natura, terra adentro”.
In a space with decor designed by the company's Style director, Érika Santos, new releases from Medellín and Veracruz, the famous Painho lounge chair, among other pieces, were exhibited.
Tidelli was present with the best of its furniture, presenting concepts, innovation and inspiration, as well as the cultural roots of the Brazilian people imprinted in the brand's DNA and how much it is in line with the resignification that the house had in these new times when living alongside outdoors is gold.
The president of the brand, Luciano Mandelli, reinforced that the main objective of participation in international events is to show the differentiated design and quality of products. “Tidelli has constantly invested in design, whether with partnerships with Brazilian or foreign professionals. Our intention is always to develop original pieces, unique and not replicas. This has made us a benchmark in outdoor living furniture”, he assesses.
