Tidelli furniture takes Brazilianness to an international project

A beautiful residence, facing a bay with crystal clear water and a large, wooded outdoor area. Located in Newport Beach, the home of Doug and Lydia McLaughlin is a true California dream. When they decided to set the family’s outdoor space, the young couple wanted modern furniture, with design and comfort. And found it at Tidelli!

Famous for starring in two seasons of The Housewife of Orange County in 2013 and 2017, and directors of Nobleman Magazine, Doug and Lydia McLaughlin love to receive friends and socialize as a family.

When they started to develop the Nobleman Retreat project, Tidelli’s Design consultant, Fernanda Fadel, was inspired by the couple’s own lifestyle, who have three children, analyzing collective and individual habits and tastes.
To give life to an unique and exclusive space, the professional bet on the creation of leisure and social lounges composed of furniture that, in addition to being beautiful, have functionality and are perfect for receiving and living good moments, creating affectionate memories for the family. “I believe in a simple formula: the more you know the customer, the harder it is to make mistakes”, explains Fadel, who adds: “I met them several times to get to know them well, understand their needs and know the characteristics of the neighborhood where they live”.

Working with sophisticated elements, the Design consultant used modern shades of blue and green, harmonized with the neutral warm gray. “The interior of the house has a neutral décor. I wanted to follow this style in the outdoor area, but also bringing colors that are classic and don’t tire the eyes with time, keeping the project’s timelessness”, she says.
Cozy, one of the charming lounges received Fusion sofa, Kauai lounge chairs, Obsession stool and lounge chair, rope rug, Biarritz side table with granite top and wood top coffee table with bucket. In a very simple style, a Spool bar table and Amado bar stools were also placed for good drinks. In the background, a curtain with DNA cord, and, on the sides, three Painho swings and the iconic Pendulo swing.

Throughout the garden, several environments were created to relax and enjoy the sun. Under the shade of a coconut tree, an Amado double chaise invites you to relax outdoors. At another point, the Painho loveseat and Marina lounge chair call for more intimate chats or family music sessions. At the other side, the Veleiro chaise is perfect for those who want to replenish vitamin D.

In the wet area, in front of the pool, large ombrelones offer shade to those who decide to opt for the comfort of the Marina sofa and the Mesh swivel lounge chair. Rounding out the lounge, Biarritz wood top coffee tables and lanterns in different sizes.

The dining area received a Bora Bora dining table with Kauai chairs, Smart console and Maui line accessories: placemat, flatware caddy, napkin holder and tray. The granite countertops, next to the grill and pizza oven, gained Kauai bar stools. “They are taking full advantage of the outdoor area created for the family. This gives enormous satisfaction because the brand’s objective is also to offer more quality of life to customers”, says Fernanda Fadel.

For the operational director Tidelli USA, Gian Mandelli, the Brazilianness of the brand’s furniture has been very well received abroad. “Our product is unique and interesting, and this has delighted Americans. It is the strength of Brazilian Design breaking frontiers”, he concludes.
